Eight Afghans killed in bombing


Kabul, Sep 1 (IANS): Eight Afghan workers of a local mining company were killed and five others wounded when a roadside bomb hit their vehicle in eastern Parwan province, a media report said.

About 13 people were in the vehicle when the explosive device blew off in Bagram district Saturday, reported Xinhua.

A US airbase is located in Bagram, 55 km north of Kabul.
