Mangalore, Feb 13: The New Mangalore Port Trust will celebrate its silver jubilee on Tuesday, February 14 at Hotel Le Meridien, Bangalore. On the occasion the newly-constructed deep draft multipurpose berth number 14 will be inaugurated.

Minister for Shipping Road Transport and Highways T R Baalu will dedicate the deep draft multipurpose berth to the nation and release the silver jubilee journal.

Central minister Oscar Fernandes will be the chief guest and will release a corporate film on NMPT.

MP Manorama Madhwaraj and MLA Krishna Palemar will be the guests of honour.
