Dubai, Feb 12: With all tickets sold out like hot cakes in UAE, 'The Picnic', an event by Emirates Paradelas at Al Jazira Resort on Feb 17, 2006, has compelled the organizes to close the sale of tickets for the show. Though still a week away from now, the event has received overwhelming response, far beyond expectations.
One of the members of the organizing committee Gerry D`Mello informed Daijiworld that the total capacity of persons the show could accommodate has been crossed and no further entries would be issued.
"Although we expected the total capacity crowd on the day of the event, we never expected a total sold out show quite ahead the scheduled date of the show," he said adding that variety of entertainment programmes for the crowd to mix and enjoy have been planned for the day-long event.
The Emirates Paradela has been organizing such events once in two years, which has been attracting huge crowds. The Paradelas have been actively involved in charity work back home in Mangalore and also in catering to the local needs.
The distinct feature is that the Paradelas are known to be one of the best organizers and respected as a well disciplined association in the Middle East.
