Mangalore, Feb 10: Two persons were injured in a tipper-car collision at Jeppinamogaru on the National Highway 17 here on Friday February 10 morning.
The injured have been identified as Raghvendra Kini (26) and Pradeep Rao (23) of Pane Mangalore near Bantwal here.
The car was coming to the city from Tokkottu when a tipper going to Jeppinamogaru from Yekkur collided with it at Jeppinamogaru. The impact of the accident was such that the car has been badly damaged. Both Raghvendra and Pradeep were coming to the city from one of their relatives’ house where they had stayed overnight.
The injured have been admitted to s private hospital in the city. The reckless driving by the tipper driver is said to be the cause for the accident.
The Kankanady police have booked a case against tipper driver.
