Mangalore, Feb 10:  Konaje police station sources have reported that one Meena (26) and her daughter Shalini (6), residents of Derlakatte near Konaje here have gone missing from their house from Monday January 16.

Meena is the wife of one Kunduswamy.  On her January 16 Meena had told her husband that she was going to the city.  Accordingly, she took her daughter Shalini and left the house on an auto rickshaw.  But ever since she has neither come back to the house nor called up her husband.

Since Meena hailed from Tamil Nadu, at first Kunduswamy presumed that she had been to her parental house in there.  But when he enquired with her parents and family members, they said that she had not come there during the past days.  Enquiries were also made among her relatives and friends.  But neither could be traced.

Since there have been no clues about her whereabouts, Kunduswamy has now filed a complaint with the Konaje police in this regard.
