Mumbai: Nagesh N Shetty elected as new president of Javab

Mumbai, Aug 26: Nagesh Shetty, vice president of Juhu Andheri Versova Ville Parle Association of Bunts (JAVAB) was unanimously elected as its president, during the 12th  annual general body meeting held at Blue Waters Hotel banquet hall, Andheri -West here on Saturday August 24 evening.

The meeting was chaired by Javab president Raghu L Shetty.The treasurer Jagdish V Shetty and Nagesh N Shetty was present at the dais.

The first Bunts woman pilot Commander Kruti I.R. Shetty, daughter of chartered accountant I R Shetty and Kavita Shetty couple was felicitated during the programme.The scholarship was distributed to the talented community students besides financial assistance handed over to economically-weaker students of the community.

Javab trustees Shankar T Shetty, N C Shetty, B R Poonja, former presidents Vishwanat Hegde and Anand P Shetty and others were present on the occasion.

Shiromani A Shetty rendered the prayers.  Nagesh N Shetty welcomed the gathering.  The secretary B Shivaram Naik presented the annual accounts.  Joint secretary Madhukar V Shetty proposed vote of thanks.
