Mumbai, Feb 9: Television actress and model Kuljeet Randhawa allegedly committed suicide at her apartment in suburban Juhu.
Her body was found on Wednesday night by her servant, hanging from the ceiling of her Krishna Apartment flat.
The police have not commented on the issue and the body has been sent for post-mortem.
The watchman of the apartment where Kuljeet lived said that the last person to visit her was the maid servant early on Wednesday and Kuljeet didn't come out of the flat for the entire day.
Randhawa's parents, who live in Delhi are expected to arrive in Mumbai on Thursday. Kuljeet shot to fame with her TV serial Koh-I-Noor, a suspense thriller.
She had also acted in other popular TV serials like Hip Hip Hurray and Cats. Kuljeet has also been the face of many brands like Electrolux, Savlon, Maruti and Recova.
