Indian football team reaches Tajikistan for friendly


Khujand (Tajikistan), Aug 10 (IANS): The Indian football team has reached Tajikistan to play a friendly on Aug 14.

The 20-member squad reached here Friday.

Team: Goalkeepers: Karanjit Singh, Sandip Nandy, Subhasish Roychowdhury.

Defenders: Denzil Franco, Nirmal Chettri, Arnab Mondal, Gouramangi Singh, Raju Gaikwad, Sandesh Jhingan.

Midfielders: Mehtab Hossain, Lalrindika Ralte, Arata Izumi, Lenny Rodriguez, Jewel Raja Shaikh.

Forwards: Francis Fernandes, Shylo Malsawmtluanga, Clifford Miranda, Sunil Chhetri, Robin Singh, Dawson Fernandes.
