MUMBAI, Feb 1: The flight schedule at the Mumbai airport has not been affected at all despite the proposed call for strike given by the employees of Airports Authority of India (AAI), who are protesting against the privatisation of Mumbai and Delhi airports.

Sources at the Chhatrapati Shivaji airport confirmed that the flights are going as per the schedule, as the authorities have already taken care of any eventuality.

The AAI Employees' Joint Forum had announced on Tuesday night that the protest would begin at 1000 hrs today. It had also announced that the Airports Authority of India workers would boycott work while AAI officers would go on an indefinite hunger strike. The employees are protesting against the government's move to privatise the two  airports.
