Bahrain, Jan 30: Richard Moras has been elected as the President of Karnataka Social Club during the Annual General Meeting held on 28th January, for the year 2006.

A distinguished personality, a konkani activist, very well known in the social field in Bahrain and earlier at the very young age in the political field as well back home in India. Moras, the son of a successful educationist, was the vice President of the club during 2003 and 2004. 

Richard Moras is also the official correspondent of Daijiworld.com in Bahrain

Other members of the Executive Committee are Richard Pais (Vice President), Charles Rodrigues (General Secretary),  A.S. Vinay (Asst.General Secretary), Sunil D’Souza (Treasurer), Sebastian Benedict Alva (Asst.Treasurer), Rajesh Prabhu (Entertainment Secretary), Ramdas Salcar (Asst. Entertainment Secretary), Milard Rodrigues (Sports Secretary) and Abdul Rashid(Administrative Member).
