Ego of politicians to blame for corruption: Advani

Pune, Aug 3 (PTI): Terming corruption as the biggest problem facing the country, BJP leader LK Advani on Saturday said it emanated from the ego of the political class.

"Corruption is the biggest problem confronting society. It stems from 'ahankar' (ego) of politicians who think they are all powerful and indispensable, and can do whatever they want," he said last night.

The former deputy prime minister was speaking at a function organised in connection with the 95th birthday celebrations of Sindhi spiritual leader Dada J P Vaswani in Pune.

Advani, who spoke in Sindhi, asked politicians to cultivate a spirit of giving and said that corruption can be removed if spiritual quotient in an individual is increased.

Paying tributes to Dada Vaswani, he said his teachings were relevant to present times and lauded the Sadhu Vaswani Mission's work which aimed at increasing spiritual quotient in the society.

Dada Vaswani said the need of the hour is to have men and women of character who worked selflessly for the country.

    Good day to all!
Advani is the main reason why all the bombings and so called other terrorist activities take place in India.
Before Advani came into the picture,India was the most peaceful country.
Now look at the mess now!
He is a Sindhi originating from Pakistan's Sindh province and he is not even an Indian by birth.
He is not to be believed. His own daughter-in-law had lodged a case against him a few years back for molestation, drinking and eating beef at home!
The case was made PUSKA since BJP was in power at the center that time.
    What a guy!

India will never forgive Advaniji as it's a fact that unity in diversity, living in harmony between different communities was completely ruined by Advani with his so called Ratha Yathra. Our Bharath is Mahan and we should never ever allow our Bharath to disintegrate.

It not Ego that is responsible for Corruption.
Actually it is Greed, Dishonesty and lack of fear of God and being insensitive towards our own brothers that is responsible for corruption.
Ego only makes the man Power-hungry and despotic, but not corrupt.

It took Advaniji more than six decades (Unfortunately) to understand the reason behind corruption. Better late than never and for us in Karnataka in case Congress fails to deliver corrupt free governance, let us hope for Advaniji being alive when BJP comes to power again and charisma of Yediyurappa plus ego-free advice of ageing BJP leader will bring prosperity to Karnataka.

This man speak anything to please the public no matter its illogic.
For instance he called Jinnah a secular. He is too old to balance his senses while public speaking.

Rosario,as per history, biography & speeches we can find Jinnah was more secular than Nehru..After independence history itself twisted for political gain..Jinnah was against partition till the end & he was pushed to the limit by the political situation..His vision of Pakistan was hijacked by scholar Maududi & rest is history..Now,Jinnah's own men (shias) became no mans in their land & Jinnah's house recently completely burnt down by religious fanatics..But, his house in INDIA well preserved, his son in law & grandson are lived & have succesfull business in INDIA..
