Mumbai: Prabha N Suvarna bags Karnataka Jyothi State Award

Mumbai, Jul 31: Prabha N Suvarna was conferred with the 'Karnataka Jyothi Puraskara' in the Kannada Kala Prathibotsava organized by Jnana Mandara Educational and Cultural trust (Academy), Bangalore.

N P Suvarna was conferred with the Shree Devara Dasimayya National Award for the overall best Social Service, conducted at Devara Dasimayya Jayanthi Sahasranamotsava, organized by Ramya Kalaranga, Hassan.

The ceremony was held in Bangalore, but due to their absence, the award was given to the convener Dr G D Joshi, Ex World Convention president and Dr C Somashekar IAS, at Karnataka Sangha office in Mumbai.

Association vice president Dr Bharath Kumar Polipu, honourary general secretary Omdas Kannangar, Pandith NaveenChandra Sanil and others were present and congratulated the couple.
