Nellyadi, Jan 28: Bethany English Medium School celebrated its annual day, recently.  Fr George Thomas after inaugurating the programme, said that emphasis is laid on education in social, economic, political and religious spheres. Students should gain quality education, he added.

Fr Chacko was the chief guest. Bishop Gee Verghese Mar Divannasios presiding over the programme, said that students should be determined to study during their student life.  Everyone should work for the progress of the school, he added. 

PTA president Verghese and Nellyadi Gram Panchayat president Keshav Gowda were present. Principal Mathew Modiyil read the report.  Talented student Abraham Philip was felicitated.  Prizes were distributed to the winners of sports competitions.

Headmaster George K Thomas, Abraham, Students' Union leader Clint Jossy and priests of various churches were present.  Various cultural programmes were held on the occasion.
