Mangalore, Jan 27: Addressing the gathering at the Rebuplic Day celebrations at the Nehru Maidan here on Thursday January 26, Jabbar Khan Honnali, district in-charge minister, said that new computer ration cards with tamper-proof features to prevent misuse, will be issued shortly to eligible families in the district. New ration cards to five families were also given by the minister on the occasion.

                                                             

The minister added that an amount of Rs 725 lac has been released by the government for repair and establishment of structures damaged by rains during the previous year.
