Mirza tops in EPL Show Jumping


Bangalore, July 29 (IANS): Fouad Mirza, astride Pollina, won the honours in the Show Jumping (Open) class in the Equestrian Premier League held here.

In all, the event attracted a total of 160 entries, 50 horses and 40 riders from various clubs Sunday.

The results:

Class D1 - Preliminary Dressage (Below 16): 1. Tiyasha Vathul (CEC, Zia); 2. Sanjukta Athreya (CEC, Autobahn); 3. Pranaya Pillai (CEC, Autobahn).

Class D2 - Preliminary Dressage (Above 16): 1. Pratika Gopinath (CEC, Taurus); 2. Satish TM (EIRS, Sunzone); 3. Anya Shroff (EIRS, Mr. Bean).

Class D4 - Pre-Novice Dressage (Junior and Open): 1. Salomeja Piluskyte (CEC, Taurus); 2. Isaack Koshy (EIRS, Faustino); 3. Yashaan Z Khambatta (EIRS, Connor).

Class EQ1 - 60 CMS Equitation: 1. Tanishka Khataokar (EIRS, Oscar); 2. Anya Shroff (EIRS, Zorro); 3. Pratika Gopinath (CEC, Heaven).

Class SJ2 - 80 CMS Show Jumping (Children): 1. Jibran Khan (ECE, Eldorado); 2. Aryaman Gupta (ECE, Chinab); 3. Neel Virwani (EIRS, Mximus).

Class SJ3 - 80 CMS Show Jumping (Open): 1. Hriday Chheda (EIRS, Asjiel); 2. Rushil Patel (ECE, Aramis); 3. Isaack Kosshy (EIRS, Faustino).

Class SJ4 - 90-100 CMS Show Jumping (Junior and Open): 1. Shambhavi Ajila (ECE, Zoe); 2. Sehaj Virk (EIRS, Christy); 3. Hriday Chedda (EIRS, Asjiel).

Class SJ5 - 105-110 CMS Show Jumping (Adult and Open): 1. Zarosh Bharucha (EIRS, Cabrini); 2. Gregory Lassuss (CEC, Mylady); 3. Shambhavi Ajila (ECE, Zoe).

Class SJ6 - 120 CMS Show Jumping (Open): 1. Fouad Mirza (ECE, Pollina); 2. Gregory Lassus (CEC, My Lady); 3. Aditya Krishna (CEC, Oxford).
