Mexico to face Panama in Gold Cup semis


Washington, Jul 21 (IANS): Mexico and Panama won their 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup quarterfinals and will face each other in the semifinal Wednesday.

Mexico beat Trinidad and Tobago thanks to an 84th minute goal from Raul Jimenez, winning 1-0 Saturday, reports Xinhua. The highest ranked team in CONCACAF moved within two victories to their third straight Gold Cup title. Panama outclassed Cuba 6-1.
