Japan's Kawauchi wins Gold Coast Marathon

Gold Coast (Australia), Jul 7 (IANS): Japanese Yuki Kawauchi levelled a meet record as he claimed the men's title at the Gold Coast Marathon here Sunday.

Kawauchi, who has already qualified for the Moscow World Championships next month, came in first with a timing of two hours, 10 minutes and one second, beating compatriot Taiga Ito, who clocked 2:11.52, reports Xinhua.
