Mangalore, Jan 15: With a view to extending complete and comprehensive medical solution to various illness, the Kasturba Medical College (KMC) has opened a Speciality Clinic, one of its kind facility in Mangalore. Mangalore MLA N Yogish Bhat inaugurated the clinic.

Speaking to news persons, chief operating officer Dr Sunil Deshpande said the clinic will function on weekly basis at KMC Hospitals, Attavar. The clinic will provide assistance for those patients, who need comprehensive care for a particular illness.

Patients, who are suffering from backache, vertigo and life style diseases will also be treated here. Besides this, the clinic will also address common health problems faced by women of all ages. He further said, the clinic aims to give holistic treatment and better services in term of reduced OP waiting time and personalised care. Dean C V Raghuveer said there will be five clinics working on five days on specified times.
 
On Mondays, well women clinic will be on from 9 am to 1 pm, clinic for backache on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 1 pm, diabetes clinics on Wednesdays from 9 am to 2 pm, life style modification on Thursdays from 8 am to 1 pm and vertigo clinics on Fridays from 9 am to 12 noon.
