Mangalore, Jan 14: Noted Konkani poet Arthur Roshan Pereira will present 7 of his Konkani poems on Akashvani Mangalore on Monday January 16 at 6.15 evening.
Arthur Pereira hails from Omzoor near here and is currently employed in Dubai. He is a known poet both in Konkani as well as Kannada. Recently he was awarded 'Samajratna Award' instituted by the Jnana Mandara Educational and Cultural Academy in Bangalore (sponsored by Karnataka state government) for his contribution to Kannada language and literature.
On Monday Arthur's 7 poems "Mhojo Ganv", "Eksurponn", "Dolleantlem Rudan", "Jinniecho Mister", "Abache Mar Char Patir", "Ablexi Tum Konn", "Volloo Volloo Kallzak Lag" will be aired on Akashvani Mangalore at 6.15 pm on Monday.
