Mangalore, Jan 13: Now auto drivers who cheat and misbehave cannot go scot-free. Complaints against such auto drivers may be sent to Police Control Room via SMS to 94483-85222. The complaint must mention the autorickshaw’s registration number and place of complaint.
This was announced by B Dayananda, Superintendent of Police, during the valedictory function of the 17th National Road Safety Week on Thursday January 12.
He also added that a complete study will be conducted on the existing traffic system, traffic congestion and other traffic problems, for better long-term planning with other agencies.
