Beltangady, Jan 11: Raja alias Cable Raja and Vishwanath alias Visil Vishwa, the prime accused in the Dhanyakumar murder case of Guruvayankere near here have been released on bail by the court.
Dhanyakumar, a former president of Kubettu Mandal Panchayat and managing trustee of Shri Kodamanittaya Temple at Aramale Bettu was brutally murdered at Guruvayankere while he was going for a morning walk. The assailants had then fled the place on a Qualis vehicle.
Along with Raja and Vishwanath, one Ashok, son of Lalitamma of Kubettu too was arrested by Beltangady police after a few days.
