Mumbai: Foundation stone laid for Mookambikadevi Temple Shahad

Mumbai, May 24: “The worship centers indeed revive the religiousness of people who seek spiritual bliss.  Meanwhile, the restoration of ancient temples can be done with a little contributions of each devotee that would become huge sum collectively.  The Temples become significant worship centers because of temple deity’s generous blessings on its faithful,” said Dharmapal U Devadiga, religious leader and president of Akhila Bharat Tulu Okkoota.

Devadiga was speaking after laying foundation stone for constructing Mookambikadevi Temple that is promoted by Nityanand Mitra Bhajan Mandal, at nearby Birla Gate, Shahad, Kalyan (West) here on Thursday May 23.

Kalyan Jasmine Group of Companies managing director Surendra V Shetty was the guest of honour. The religious leader of Ghansoli Navi Mumbai Anni C Shetty, renowned Vastu consultant Mahesh Muniyangala Puttur was present.

Shankaranarayan Tantri performed the religious celebrations on the construction site. Speaking on the occasion, Anni Shetty said that one can achieve significant in life with the grace of God.

The temple priest Rajesh Bhat performed religious celebrations and distributed Prasadam to the devotees. The building committee honorary president Moodushedde Vishwanat Shetty and Revati couples were also present during the religious celebrations.

The philanthropists Vaman M Shetty Ambarnat and Lalita couple assured to bear the cost of sanctuary at the Temple.

The building Committee president Pangala Chandrakant S Shetty Vashi, secretary Balkunje Muddu K Kotian, treasurer Kankanady Monappa Poojary, joint secretary Yuvaraj R Suvarna, joint treasurer Manmat S Shetty, Nadyodiguttu Dayashankar P Shetty, Subbayya Shetty, Sadanand Shetty, Talipadiguttu Vasu Shetty, Ravindra Shetty, Gopalakrishna Shetty, Harish T Shetty Shimunje Parari, chief advisor Talipady Chandrahas N Shetty, Bharat Bank – Kalyan branch manager Ratnakar Poojary and other dignitaries were present at the occasion.

Shivapura Krishna G Poojary welcomed the gathering.  Renjala Gopal S Hegde compered the programme.
