Mumbai, May 6: Twenty-six-year-old Shubhalaxmi, wife of Manish Amin and HR employee of Sodexho, in the west suburb of Goregaon, residing at Anand Nagar, Vasai (West) passed away here on Tuesday April 30.
Shubhalaxmi is the daughter of Shyam N. Salian, religious head of Shantadurgadevi Temple, Motilal Nagar 1, Goregaon (West). She was married off to Manish Amin, a native of Udyavar settled in the metro two years ago. She died after giving birth to a baby boy at Dr Hamsa Nayak’s Nursing Home, Aarey Road, Goregaon (East), due to over bleeding.
Meanwhile, the family of Shubhalaxmi alleges the irresponsibility of Dr Nayak who transferred Shubhalaxmi to Nanavati Hospital for advanced care and also handed over the baby boy to them.
The mortal remains of Shubhalaxmi were cremated at Oshivara crematorium, attended by large numbers of residents of Motilal Nagar last Wednesday.
