'Calling Mr Joe B Carvalho' a mad movie, says Geeta Basra

Mumbai, Apr 24 (IANS): Geeta Basra, who will soon be seen in comedy movie "Calling Mr Joe B Carvalho" with Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffrey, calls it a mad script.

"It's a very funny film, full of madness. It is such a funny script, a laugh riot. You laugh simply by seeing Javed Jaffrey and Arshad Warsi on the sets," the 29-year-old said here at the unveiling of the Beauty & Salon magazine cover featuring her.

"They are mad and the script is such that you don't need to take your brains to the theatre to watch the film," added Geeta, who has seen in films like "Dil Diya Hai" and "The Train".

Arshad plays a detective in "Calling Mr Joe B Carvalho", which also stars Soha Ali Khan.

Last seen in item song "Ghaziabad ki rani hoon main" from action thrillr "Zila Ghaziabad", Geeta is open to doing more such numbers.

"Let's see. It's all about the right set up, right film, right song. Luckily, for me, I got good songs. Sadly, 'Zila Ghaziabad' didn't do too well, but it's ok, it's a good film. But people liked my song," she said.

"People saw me in a very different kind of look. Very few people have seen me dance in Indian style," she added.
