Too young to write autobiography, says Adele

London, Apr 18 (IANS): Singer-songwriter Adele has reportedly turned down an offer by a publishing house to write her autobiography, for a seven figure sum.

The offer came to her from Harper Collins.

The 24-year-old, who gave birth to son Angelo in September last year, feels she is too young to write an autobiography and that needs more life experience in order to write a book, reports contactmusic.com.

"Adele's never been a really showy person, so it was always going to take a lot to get her to write her life story anyway," a source told mirror.co.uk.

"But even though she received a lucrative offer, her primary concern was that she doesn't want to write a book about just 24 years. She feels she'd rather wait until she has more life experience to write about. She'd never say never, but she did say 'not now'," the source added.

Adele was recently named Britain's richest young musician with 30 million pounds.
