India win Mohali Test, seal series

Mohali, Mar 18 (IANS): India won the third Test against Australia by six wickets to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the four-match series here Monday.

India took 33.3 overs to overcome the 133-run target. Mahendra Singh Dhoni (18) and Ravindra Jadeja (8) took India home.

Earlier Monday, Australia were bowled out for 223 in their second innings. They had made 408 in the first innings and India made 499 in response.

    It seemed to me Tendulkar wanted to run Dhoni out. In the bargain he himself got out.
    If he had remained India would not have scored the required runs for a win.
    With all due respect to him for his earlier fantastic cricket, he is not the same Tendulkar for the last two years. I think he cannot sight the ball well and his stroke play has diminished considerably.
    It seems to me, he is dreading that ball moving (out cutter) away from his off stump, as he has lost his wicket for those so many times.
    Wish he decides soonest to hang his boots from Test Cricket.
