Los Angeles, Mar 17 (IANS): Singer Ed Sheeran says he does not wish to ruin his friendship with singer Taylor Swift by getting romantically involved with her.
The duo have been rumoured to be dating each other, but Sheeran has denied it.
"You don't have to bang a girl just because she's your friend. It's not a necessity. So that's why I'd never go there with her (Swift). I wouldn't want to spoil things," thesun.co.uk quoted Sheeran as saying.
The news started making rounds after Sheeran was seen entering Swift's hotel room a few days back and coming out the next morning.
However, according to him, they were just discussing music with friends throughout the night.
