Los Angeles, Feb 27 (IANS): Actress Michelle Williams has reportedly ended her romance with actor Jason Segel after a year of dating.

The "Brokeback Mountain" actress was first photographed with Segel in March 2012. The two went public with their relationship a month later at the New York afterparty for Segel's romantic comedy - "The Five-Year Engagement".

It is said the two split earlier this month after struggling to maintain the long-distance relationship, reports usmagazine.com.

The actress lives in New York with her daughter Matilda while the comedian is based in Los Angeles.
