Big CBS Prime starts Hindi feed

New Delhi, Feb 20 (IANS): Reliance Broadcast Network and CBS Studios International are launching Hindi feed of their joint venture, English entertainment channel Big CBS Prime.

Globally successful shows like "NCIS", "CSI: Crime Scene Investigations", "Blue Bloods", "Elementary", "48 Hours", "Galileo Extreme", "America's Got Talent" and "Bellator" will now be availble with the option of Hindi language, starting Wednesday.

This move marks Reliance Broadcast Network's first channel with a national dubbed feed.

"The Prime Hindi feed is the next logical expansion of our India growth strategy, leveraging our strong brand position, built with Reliance since the initial launch of the Big CBS venture just over two years ago," Reed Manville, executive vice president, International Channels, CBS Studios International, said in a statement.

Big CBS Prime is now the only international English general entertainment channel with a multi-lingual feed, offering latest content from across the globe to a larger audience base across the top eight metros to begin with.

While the current reach of the channel across seven metros stands at 1.9 million people, the reach through this new Hindi feed is expected to cross a viewership of 10 million.

The channel is available across all major digital cable networks and leading DTH players.
