Bangalore, Feb 19: At least 24 cricket teams from Bangalore will be seen in action in the forthcoming ‘Cricket Festival’ taking place at the Swiss Town cricket ground on New Airport Road, here.
The first of its kind tournament will take place on February 23, 24 with a total prize money of Rs15,000 given to the best performing teams and players.
Teams like Clarks Hotel, Bangalore Tigers, Holy Rosary Church, HollySwiss Stars, Kon-cab, Weir Group and so many others like them will be vying for the top prizes. There will be a ‘Man of the Match’ award for each and every single match in the tournament.
The most exciting 8-a-side cricket format will please every cricket lover who will see fireworks from the batsman in the limited overs contest. All in all, an interesting cricket feast is on the cards for every cricket enthusiast at the cricket festival.
The tournament will be managed by veteran tournament director Denzil Fernandes.
