Delhi far for BJP, says Manish Tewari

New Delhi, Jan 29 (IANS): With debate raging in the BJP over making Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi its prime ministerial candidate, Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari Tuesday said Delhi is far for the party, immaterial of who leads it in general election.

"BJP projected Atal Bihari Vajpayee as its prime ministerial candidate in 2004 and lost it. Similar thing happened with L.K. Advani in 2009. As of now, 2014 elections are far and Delhi is far for BJP," Tewari told reporters.

Former union minister and senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha Monday backed Modi for Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) prime ministerial candidate but the party said that a decision will come "at an appropriate time".

    Dear BJP:

Your dream of Modi as PM candidate never come to pass. Modi is a known criminal. No doubt he has developed Gujarat state but the murders he has done, the people of India remember still. If US has not given him Visa to visit USA, there is a strong reason for them. Their intelligence is very high and that itself is a proof that Modi is a criminal. For sure the Congress will rule another five years to come. Let us hope for the good future of India.
