Mourinho Congratulates English FA

London, Jan 16 (IANS): Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has congratulated the English FA on its 150th anniversary and said he would be back to coach in England "one day".

Mourinho's first stint as a coach in England was with the current European champions Chelsea. He won the Premier League title, the club's first league title in 50 years, and the League Cup in his first season with the London football club, reports Xinhua.

"My memories from English football could not be better," the Real Madrid head coach said.

"In England you feel the real passion for the game. It's not just about passion for clubs, it's mainly about passion for football - and you feel it. I loved it from the first to the last."

"But I know that one day I will come back because English football means a lot to me."

Mourinho sent his message from his base in Madrid. The FA posted it on its website.

"For me, The FA means not just the passion of football in England, but also the passion of football around the world," said Mourinho, who led Chelsea to two Premier League titles and an FA Cup during his three-year spell starting from 2004.
