India will find it Difficult to Beat us in Pakistan: Saeed Ajmal

Karachi, Jan 9 (PTI): Buoyed by their recent success in India, off-spinner Saeed Ajmal has challenged the arch-rivals to beat Pakistan in their own backyard.

Ajmal said the Indian team would find it difficult to beat Pakistan on their home turf.

"We looked at it (the series in India) as a challenge. We felt if we beat them in their own backyard then it will pose a challenge before them to come and try to win in Pakistan. I hope this happens soon," Ajmal said.

The 35-year old spinner took 5-24 in the final ODI in New Delhi on Sunday but still failed to get the man-of-the-match award which went to India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni for his fighting 36-run knock and leadership qualities.

Even though the incident raised quite a few eyebrows in Pakistan, Ajmal said he was not disappointed at not getting the man-of-the-match award.

"I am used to these things. Remember I even didn`t get the ICC award. For me the biggest reward was to see our team do well in India," he said.

Ajmal, who played a full series in India for the first time in his career, said that Pakistan won the series because of team unity and hard work.

"That was our simple formula for success," he insisted.

Ajmal said the impressive performance in India had boosted his confidence a lot.

"I am happy that we played good cricket in every match of the tour. We were positive all the time. We desperately wanted to complete a clean sweep in the ODI series unfortunately this didn`t happen," he told `Jang` newspaper.

No team in the world would like to visit Pakistan. Therefore, he is instigating Indian team to visit. No team is stupid to visit and killed by the terrorists. It is OK to lose the game Mr. Ismail Shaikh from bat and ball by the cricketers but not from guns and bombs by terrorists. When you comment be Indian.

Ajmal's comment is 100% true. They beat India handsomely in all parts of the game in our own backyard and the only consolation is 3rd match was fixed by the Indian board itself to keep some respect to Indian team. At the moment India Should not think of Pakistan tour or else they will terrosise the Indian team with the bat and the ball so, yes they will be termed as "TERRORIST"!

Win loose doesn't matter, Being a Cricket fan we are happy India-Pak match happened. I appreciate continue playing cricket between these teams. Sports and politics are two different things. Nothing harm anyone if we play cricket. Pakistan is a good bowling unit, Indians doesn't know how to play against their class.

PCB THEY DON'T HAVE MONEY PAY A SALARY FOR THEIR PLAYERS AND OFFICALS. THAT'S WHY OUR GREAT BCCI (WORLD RICHEST BOARD) CALL THEM TO PLAY IN INDIA WITH VVVVIP SEQURITY. WE ALL KNOW THAT HOW OUR PLAYERS PLAYED AGAINST THEM, AND WE INDIANS NEVER ACCEPT THE LOOSE AGAINST PAKISTAN. IF WE LOOSE OTHER NATION NO PROBLEM WE WILL ACCEPT. UNFORUNATALLY THIS GUY IS TALKING IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO PLAY IN PAKISTAN. (TERRORIST COUNTRY)
