“The effort of Kannada journalists in Mumbai who have been promoting the language is praiseworthy. The quintessential quality of journalists in Mumbai is that they collate information from various parts of the city. The journalists who are not distorted by any vested interests have the pivotal role of respecting the society and they are bound to receive the due honor”, said Surendra A Poojary, working president of Sai Care Logistic Limited.
 
He spoke after symbolically unveiling the index book of Kannadiga Patrakarthara Sangha Maharastra here at a program organized in Sai Care Conference Hall of Kailas Corporate Lounge in Povai Hiranandani on Thursday January 3.

Journalists need to inculcate the quality of transparency; he said and wished the journalists’ union to lay the model way for others.

President of the union Chandrashekar Paletthady welcomed. Honorary secretary Rons Bantwal delivered key note address.

Vice president of the union Dayasagar Chowta compered the program. Working committee member K N Suresh delivered the vote of thanks

Working committee members Shyam M Hande, Gurudath S Poonja, Jaya C Poojary among others were present.
