UAE, ICJ President Discuss Cooperation


The Hague, Nov 24 (IANS/WAM): The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has held discussions with the International Court of Justice (ICJ) president over strengthening cooperation between the two sides.

During their meeting UAE Ambassador to Netherlands Abdullah Al Naqbi and the ICJ president, Peter Tomka, also talked about the role the principal judicial organ of the UN play to settle, in accordance with international law, disputes arising between states.

The meet took place during one of Al Naqbi's diplomatic visits to mark the start of his tenure in the Netherlands.
