Wrestling Olympic Medallist to Lose Bronze for Doping


Washington, Nov 7 (IANS): Olympic bronze medallist Soslan Tigiev has been reportedly stripped of his medal for a doping violation at the London Games.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has disqualified Tigiev, a freestyle wrestler from Uzbekistan, who won bronze in the 74-kg class in London, after he was tested positive for the banned stimulant methylhexaneamine, reports Xinhua.

Hungary's Gabor Hatos will be upgraded to bronze.
