Sehwag Rubbishes Reports of Retirement from T20

New Delhi, Nov 2 (IANS): India's dashing opener Virender Sehwag Thursday rubbished media reports of his retirement from the Twenty20 squad.

"Another baseless story being run! I have not requested to be rested for any match in any format of the game! Fingers crossed, raring to go!" tweeted Sehwag as he prepared to lead Delhi in the Ranji Trophy opener against Uttar Pradesh.

A daily reported that Sehwag has asked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) not to include him in the Twenty20 side citing fitness.

"He has informed the board that he doesn't want to play T20 Internationals anymore and would like to concentrate on the longer versions. He cited fitness and the rigours of T20 cricket as the reason behind his decision," the daily reported.

    About Sehwag

Although very entertaining batsman, he has hardly entertained spectators for a long time now. I find his attitued not at all rensponsible player's attitude. Lately because of this kind of "I DO NOT CARE" attitude India has not done well.
It is time he showed better responsibility and refrain from flashing his bat at each and every ball.
Lately I think he has sighting the ball problem - same like Sachin!!!

ors should take a note on this and give someone more responsible a chance.

Seems now he loses sight from the
1st Ball! Magnificient player though-Only the hand and eye co-ordination seems to be missing of late! Not at all selfish -never plays for records! Hope he gets his form back for Indian cricket's sake! Many follow the game in India only because of Viru!

SEHWAG HAS THE ABILITY AND FITNESS TO PLAY 2 MORE YEARS.

MOST DANGEROUS BATSMAN IN THE WORLD. NO ONE HAS THE COURAGE TO PLAY LIKE HIM.

IN 2011 WORLD CUP HE HIT 1ST BALL TO BOUNDARY IN EVERY MATCH. HE WILL SPOIL BOWLERS LINE AND LENGTH IN 1ST BALL.
