Mumbai: Navaratri Utsav Flagged off at Jagadambha Kalabhairava Temple

Mumbai, Oct 17: The 2012 Navaratri celebration was flagged off at Shree Jagadambha Kalabhairava temple, here at Krishna Nagar, Jogeshwari (East) on Tuesday October 16.

Under the guidance of PC Jayaprakash Bhat, temple priest, Vishvan Ramachandra Shashtri performed various religious rituals.

Special celebrations will be held for nine days as a part of Navaratri Utsav.

Everyday there will be Samuhika Chandika Mahayaaga, Bhajans, Mahapooja, Chandika Mahayaaga on behalf of Lalitha Panchami, Krishnarpana, Shree Durga Homa on Vijaya Dashami, Mahamangalarathi, Mahaaprasada, Annasantharpane and many others will be offered, said G T Acharya, managing director.

Muddu C Suvarna, Sanjeeva Poojary, Sunder C Poojary, H Babu Poojary, Shankar D Poojary, Padubidri Suresh B Kotian, working president of executive committee, Bhujanga Amin, vice president, Sadanand Amin, secretary, D K Kunder, Sudhakar Shetty among many others were present.
