Anjalee, Arjun Kapoor give Jaamevaar a Victorian Feel

New Delhi, Sep 29 (IANS): Designer duo Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor's latest bridal collection titled 'The Mogul Opera' is inspired by the timeless complexity of ancient craft - jaamevaar.

"Our bridal collection is Mogul-inspired jewelled jaamevaar look. The entire collection is inspired from the renaissance and Kashmiri handicrafts. We have added our own twist by blending the Mogul look with a Victorian feel," Anjalee told IANS.

The collection comprises a lot garments, which are constructed at the top and very voluminous at the bottom.

"The true opulence of the collection comes to life with bejewelled lehengas, anarkalis with French lace arms, saris contemporarily slung in contrasting colors, bandhgalas and sherwanis," Arjun added.

The colour theme revolves around vibrant colors such as coral, emerald, ruby and sapphire on a diverse range of fabrics such as twill, satin, Benarasi, lace trimmings and net.

The collection is available at the designer's exclusive boutiques both in New Delhi and Mumbai, and the price is available strictly on request.
