Aguilera Likes to Take Risk with Music

Los Angeles, Sep 28 (IANS): Singer Christina Aguilera says she has been on top in the music world and now she likes taking risks with her music.

"I've already put out a greatest hits record, so I've been in this business for a while, and I'm a risk-taker, that's just who I am at heart," thesun.co.uk quoted her as saying.

"The 31-year-old, who has given some popular hits like "What a girl wants", "Genie in a bottle" and "Come on over baby" feels there might be times when people don't connect to her music, but this does not bother her.

"It's who I can't help but be. It's who I always am in nature, as a person and as an artist," Aguilera said.

"With that comes hurdles and certain areas where people aren't going to get it and understand it artistically. Sometimes it will go over their heads and it will not be as commercially successful," she added.
