BCCI Cash Prizes for U-19 Winners

New Delhi, Aug 26 (IANS): The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Sunday announced a cash reward of Rs.20 lakh to each player and Rs.15 lakh to every support staff after India won the Under-19 World Cup.

"Many congratulations to the Indian team for winning the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup," BCCI president N. Srinivasan said.

"We won the 'senior' World Cup last year, and now our boys have triumphed in the junior version of the tournament. This is a great day for Indian cricket," he added.
