Olympic Boxing: China's Zou takes Light Flyweight Gold

London, Aug 12 (IANS/RIA Novosti): Chinese light flyweight boxer Zou Shiming retained his Olympic title Saturday after beating Thailand's Kaeo Pongprayoon in a tight final.

Beijing champion Zou won all three rounds by a one-point margin, doing just enough for victory over the 2009 Asian champion Pongprayoon, taking the first round 2-1, the second 4-3 and the third 7-6.

Russia's David Aryapetyan and Ireland's Paddy Barnes won the bronze medals after losing their respective semifinals.
