Mumbai: 12th Annual General Body Meeting of Jaylaxmi Co-op Credit Society Concludes

Mumbai, Aug 1: The 12th annual general body meeting of metro-based Jaylaxmi Co-operative Credit Society, promoted by Okkaliga Sangh–Maharashtra, was held at Kamgar Kalyan Bhavan, Gondavali, Azad Road, Andheri (East), on Sunday July 29.

Chandra Shetty, Congress leader of suburban Andheri (East), after inaugurating the meeting, said that the Society contributes to the prosperity of the community and it’s the responsibility of each member of the community towards its economic sustenance.

Society president K Raje Gowda presided over the meeting. Mallikarjunaswamy Kanjurmarg performed the religious celebrations on the occasion.

Society treasurer Rangappa C Gowda said that it has 3,298 shareholders with one branch.  “It has achieved a turn over of Rs 10.19 crore and distributed a dividend of 5 percent.  It has a share capital of Rs 74.67 lac, fixed deposit exceeds Rs 9.93 crore, and loans and advances of Rs 9.29 crore,” he said.

Okkaliga Sangh Maharashtra president and the Society’s secretary Narayan R Gowda said that the board of directors seeks the support of shareholders and customers in order to lead the Society to achieve further progress.
 
Society president Raje Gowda announced the list of newly-appointed directors for the term 2012–17.
 
Puttaswamy Gowda, Santa Cruz, M N Bore Gowda, the Society’s vice-president S H Kurade, directors Nagesh N Patel, Chandan C Chary, Mutte S Gowda, A Kempe Gowda, Anusuya R Gowda, Devaki N Gowda, and Meenakshi N Patel were present on the dais.
 
Gangadar Gowda Sasi Kumar Gowda, Laxmikant Gowda, Shyam Lingayya, H G Surve, and P A Hawaldar were also present.

Society manager Parasuram Kissan Dhond compered the gathering. A Bharatanatyam show of Lata Sanjay Poojary was staged to conclude the programme.
