Mumbai, Jun 24: Konkan Taram felicitated the SSC Topper of St Jude’s High School, Jerimeri by organizing a felicitation programme at St Jude’s Church, Jerimeri on Sunday June 17.

It was an honour for Catholic Parishioners of St Jude’s High School, as Monteiro Jenate George (daughter of Romalin and George Rujay Monteiro of Belgaum) scored 92% in the SSC board examination of Maharashtra and stood second in St Jude’s High school. 

On behalf of Konkan Taram, Fr James D’Silva, (new principal of St Jude High School), presented flower bouquet, parish priest Fr Nelson Saldanha presented the certificate and John Veigas (president of KT) presented cash gift to Jenate.

Thereafter, new principal Fr James D’Silva was welcomed with a flower bouquet presented by Lawrence D’Souza.  New Sister, Sr Sheila Martin was welcomed with a bouquet presented by Melony Cordeiro.  Also a farewell bouquet was presented by Anita Walter D’Souza to Sr Anita Menezes who is transferred to St Anthony Parish Malwani from Jerimeri. 

John Mascarenhas, treasurer of KT, compered the programme.
