Mumbai: Thiya Samaj ® Distributes Scholarships to Weak Students

Mumbai, Jun 19: The metro-based Thiya Samaj ® organized an annual scholarship distribution programme for the community’s economically weaker students, at their office located in Ghatkopar (East), on Sunday June 17.

Thiya Samaj president Chandrashekar R Belchada presided over the programme on Sunday evening.

Thiya Samaj committee president Rohidas Bangera, members Ravindra S Manjeshwar and Shankar P Salian, Thiya Samaj vice-president Sudhakar Ucchil, joint secretary Mohan B M, joint treasurer Sundar Ail, ‘Thiya Jyoti’ monthly bulletin honorary editor Sridar Suvarna, women’s wing president Vranda Dinesh, western zone regional committee women’s wing president Chandra Suvarna, east zone regional committee president Kannappa N Bademar, Venkappa U Ullal, Sridar Kalwa, Bhushan Bangera, and Timmappa Bangera were present on the occasion.

Sushant Karkera and Nikhita Karkera rendered the prayers.  Vishwanath U K welcomed the gathering. Ramesh N Ullal read the list of scholarship recipients. Honorary chief secretary Babu Ail compered the programme.  Babu Belchada proposed the vote of thanks.
