Mumbai: Relocated Branch of Model Co-op Bank Inaugurated in Shanti Nagar

Mumbai, Jun 11: The relocated Mira Road (East) branch of metro-based Model Co-operative Bank inaugurated at Giridar Co-operative Housing Society building, sector 5, Shanti Nagar, on Sunday June 10.

Mira Road–Bhayandar MLA Gilbert Mendonca inaugurated the relocated branch while Mira Road (East) parish priest Fr Dominic Vas blessed.

Holy Cross Convent high school principal Sr Mercy, corporator Chandrakant Mathre, the Bank’s founder chairman John D’Silva, and deputy chairman William Sequeira were present on the dais.

The Bank’s chairman Albert W D’Souza, directors Professor A P D’Souza, Vincent Mathias, Prem Aranha, Lazarus Menezes, Paul Nazareth, Philip Pinto, Abraham Clement Lobo and Benedicta Rebello, Fr Melvyn D’Cunha, Malaika Group chairman Gilbert Baptist, director Marceline G Baptist, social activist Merlyn D’Sa, sub-inspector Ravindra Awad, municipal ward officer Dadasaheb Khetre, local leaders Joy Paladka, John Crasta, Michael D’Souza, Robert Noronha, Stany Pinto, Murphy Rebello, Lawrence Mathias, and Sophia D’Sa were present.  

The Bank’s general managers William D’Souza and Jane Harindran and branch manager Ronald D’Souza were also present.

CEO Francis Vaz welcomed the gathering.  William Sequeira proposed the vote of thank while Edward Rasquinha compered the programme.
