Malaysia to Host Asia Cup


Ipoh (Malaysia), Jun 3 (IANS): Malaysia will host the next edition of the Asia Cup.
This was decided by the Asian Hockey Federation Council Saturday.

The council, at its meeting, also unanimously agreed to name the AHF-MHC Hockey Academy here after the second son of Sultan Azlan Shah, the late Raja Ashaman, who died March 30.

Thirty-four candidates from 14 countries received certificates after completing the Technical Officials Course.

Tan Sri P. Alagendra, secretary-general, AHF said officials from other continents will be admitted in the academy from next year.
