Mumbai: Saroj Khan Holds Dance Workshop

Mumbai, May 23:
A dance workshop, led by famous choreographer Saroj Khan, was held at R Odean, Chatkopar, here recently.
 
She has worked with cine stars like Shahrukh, Saif, Kareena, Madhuri, Aishwarya and made them dance to her tunes.


 

 

 


Four batches were held during the workshop. The first batch was held for kids starting at 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Afternoon batch had women with varied age group including senior citizens and a doctor. There were two batches in the evening for teenagers and college students.

Mabel Fernandes and Sonu were assisting Saroj Khan. The workshop was arranged by Aarush of ATM entertainment with multiplex partner Cinemax.
 
Saroj Khan was very strict while the session but apart from the session she was very friendly and mixed with all students. Saroj believes in Indian traditional dance style and taught the difference between both Indian traditional and western dance movements.
 
More than 80 people participated in the workshop as it was first of its kind in suburb like Ghatkopar.  The public has requested for more such workshops in the suburb in future.

    It would be my immense pleasure and honor if i can attend Masterji's Workshop. Please let me know if it is going to be held in Pune by any chance or if in Mumbai when and how can i register.
