Mumbai: K Vittal Poojary is VP of Human Rights Association for Protection

Mumbai, Apr 4: Kadandale Vittal Poojary, managing trustee of Samant Guruji Trust and organizing secretary of Mumbai Pradesh Congress Committee, was appointed as vice-president of Human Rights Association for Protection, an international human rights organization, recognized by the union government with their administrative office located at Akurdi, Pune, for a one-year term.  The appointment letter was issued by R H Sharma, national vice-president of Human Rights Association for Protection.

Vittal Poojary is a native of Kadandale village of Moodbidri in Dakshina Kannada district.  He has been settled in the metro since many decades. Poojary was appointed a member of the advisory committee of MTNL and BSNL, recently.  He is a veteran Congress leader in the metro.

Poojary was awarded a gold medal by Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, for his extraordinary contributions in social work.
