Mumbai, Oct 7: Students of the Ryan Group of Schools participated in an engaging interaction with the cabinet minister for School Education, Maharashtra, Dadaji Bhuse. Student council members from schools across Mumbai took part in the session, while more than 100 Ryan Group schools joined online.
Responding to students’ questions, Bhuse encouraged them to become responsible and active contributors to a progressive India. He urged students to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) wisely as a learning tool while balancing technology with creativity, critical thinking, physical activity and reduced screen time.

He emphasised that quality education must be value-based and focus on the holistic development of every child, including physical health, well-being, character and love for the nation. He also encouraged parents to support their children’s interests and aspirations rather than pressuring them to pursue careers based solely on parental choices.
The minister appreciated the students’ multilingual abilities, particularly their confidence in interacting in Marathi despite studying in English-medium schools. The interaction gave students an opportunity to develop confidence, communication skills, civic awareness and leadership qualities through direct engagement with a senior public leader.
The session was attended by students from Ryan International, Goregaon; St Xavier’s, Goregaon; Ryan International, ICSE, Malad; Cambridge, Kandivali; Ryan International, Chembur; Ryan International, Nerul; Ryan International, Kharghar; Ryan International, Sanpada; and St Joseph’s-CBSE, New Panvel.
Such interactions are an integral part of the Ryan Group’s endeavour to provide students with meaningful exposure beyond the classroom. By connecting young minds with distinguished leaders, the Group continues to nurture confident, informed and socially responsible citizens who are prepared to contribute positively to society and the nation.
